I mean, what is this? Racist cops? Illegal immigrants? Toxic masculinity? Season two will have barely begun and they will have already run out of the cliche liberal agendas all they have left now is capitalism, abortion, free Medicare, and Lenin's birthday before they will be forced to recycle. 5.) Quit doing predictable political tripe. And since it's an anthology show it doesn't matter if you hire a writer for only one episode and then take on another for the next.
It could greatly benefit from having different sources of fresh ideas. This show seems to have the same level of intelligence and creativity throughout, with probably the same focus group coming up with each episode's idea, and quite frankly neither intelligence or creativity are very high. (I believe Ray Bradbury might have been one.). The first Twilight Zone did this, hiring famous sci-fi writers to come up with stories for different episodes. There is no reason to make the episodes so long. For the episodes to have the right unpredictable hook and to keep the viewer's attention, they need to be shorter and less boring. I'm sorry, but the Twilight Zone just doesn't work well as a stretched-out, languidly paced behemoth. (Like Black Mirror or whatever that thing was called). And a good alternative to all the other junk shows out there that it needs to differentiate itself from to survive. It also makes it more stylish and classy. It adds more atmosphere, especially if the show isn't R-rated. Plus, practically every modern show on the face of the Earth is rated R, maybe this one should do something to stand out? Just because it isn't R-rated doesn't automatically relegate it to a 'family show' or 'kid show'.
Of course, people let their 6-year olds watch anything these days but don't expect them to be decent people when they grow up if you do. Right now this show is catering to the crass teens working at Burger King who won't give a flying crap about it after the last episode is done. The reason the old Twilight Zone is so popular is that young kids watched it and it turned into something they could hold dear for the rest of their lives. Just like in the new Star Trek, these producers seem to think that the only way to make something popular is to add in profanity bombs, violence, and crude dialogue.

There's apparently going to be a Season 2 so I will now give this shows creators some advice on how to actually make the show reach the level of at least the previous Twilight Zone revivals. First off, are these the same people involved with the abysmal Star Trek reboots who are making this? I wouldn't be surprised, only against all odds this new Twilight Zone is even worse then Discovery or Picard.
